The Pacific Sport Institute Sport Innovation Centre is among the key sponsors of the Innovation and Development Corporation (',IDC) “Invention Competition” which calls for Vancouver Island students and faculty to compete for over $20,000 in prizes, including prizes for the best “sports related” inventions.

 “I believe that the IDC Invention Competition is going to create some well deserved awareness in Sports Innovation and the results are going to be exciting!” says Thomas Zochowski, PacificSport’s Sport Technologist.

The competition is open to all students, faculty and staff of Vancouver Island post-secondary institutions and to Vancouver Island high school students.

Entries are due January 31, 2007. More information is available at www.idcinvention.com
