Follow your passion! Get started in a career working with athletes, sports facilities and events or community sport programming. Camosun's innovative two-year Sport Management diploma program prepares you for a variety of exciting entry-level jobs in the sport industry ranging from event, team and organization management to facilities, sales and service management. A work experience internship is mandatory; you'll be able to put your theory into action and gain work experience too! You'll focus on the art and science of sport, human dynamics and the fundamentals of sport management and business. The program is activity-based, challenging and fun—fostering and encouraging healthy lifestyles and wellness practices through sport. You will also have the opportunity to complete professional licensing in a variety of lifetime sports, coach training and a number of group fitness programs. Your passion for sport and desire to promote health and wellness in society is intensified by the skill acquisition and development of motor skills portion of the program.
